Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

If you’re looking for a chocolatey, ooey gooey cookie, this cookie is the one for you!
These cookies are best served right out of the oven.


Makes about 6-8 cookies

Ingredients

  1. Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Cream together butter, both sugars, egg, and vanilla. Mix the dry into the wet in three stages, slowly. Fold in chocolate chips. Use a wood spoon, this dough is thick and sticky. Chill for two hours.

  2. Scoop dough balls about 1 1/2 teaspoon and roll into a ball. Coat lightly in granulated sugar then heavily in 10x. Place on parchment lined cookie sheets and leave at least 3 in. between each cookie. Bake for 12 minutes at 350.

  • 125 g all purpose flour

  • 50 g unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • big pinch kosher salt

  • 115 g butter (one stick or 1/2 c) room temp

  • 100 g sugar

  • 100 g dark brown sugar

  • 1 ea. egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 150 g semi sweet chocolate chips
