Apple Pie Filing

Apple Pie Filing:


Ingredients

2 large fuji apples

1 1⁄2 cup unfiltered apple cider

1⁄2 cup brown sugar

Nice Pinch of salt

Pinch of ginger

Pinch of cinnamon

1 tbsp of butter


Apple Filling Instructions:

  1. Boil 1 cups of cider with a pinch of salt, ginger, and cinnamon

  2. Whisk together 4 tablespoons of cider quarter and 3 tablespoons of corn starch

  3. Once the cider comes to a bowl, add in the corn starch and cider mixture and stir to mix it all

    together.

  4. Once mixed together remove from heat

  5. Peel your apples and dice your apples

  6. Melt 2 tablespoon of butter in a pan and add the diced apples until they start to get a color to them

  7. Add a pinch of salt and pinch of cinnamon

  8. Add another tablespoon of butter in the goo after it has set for 10 mins

  9. Add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar with your apples once the color has presented itself.

  10. Turn off your heat and add in half of the goo. Mix together!

  11. Enjoy!
