Charm City Cakes Founder Duff Goldman to Pay Tribute to San Francisco at Fancy Food Show with Extreme Cake Creation

STILLWATER, MN, (January 13, 2011) --  The city of San Francisco will be prominent even inside Moscone Center during the Winter Fancy Food Show, January 16-18, 2011, as an over-the-top showcase cake depicting the city will be created live by Charm City Cakes founder and star of Food Network’s Ace of Cakes, Duff Goldman, along with his co-starring bakery team from the hit show: Katie Rose, Elena Fox, and Anna Ellison.

The tiered, four-layer, four-foot high cake will be a continuous work in progress at the Gartner Studios booth (Booth #1088-North Hall), starting the morning of January 16. This massive masterpiece will be balanced on the nose of a California sea lion, with fanciful depictions of San Francisco landmarks encircling the tiers.

Throughout the show, Goldman will also do live demonstrations and autograph sessions at the Gartner Studios booth #1088-North Hall as follows:

Sunday, January 16 -  2:00-3:00 pm : Frosting & fondant application
Monday, January 17 -10:30 am-Noon: Meet Duff and get autographed demo DVD
                              1:30 pm-5:00 pm: Meet Duff and get autographed demo DVD
Tuesday, January 18 - 11:00-12:00 pm: Frosting & fondant application
